Toast of the Town – Athens Area Cancer Auxiliary

The 2014 Toast of the Town was held at The Graduate Hotel in Athens, Georgia.  There was food, dancing, and lot of fun to be had that night.  Here are some of the many pictures that were taken in the photo booth.  Notice the new, gold sequined backdrop – its lovely!

Summer and Fall Wedding Hodgepodge 2014

Whew!  We’ve had a really busy summer and fall wedding season.  We’ve been at The Georgia Club, The Ritz-Carlton, Historic Smithonia Farm, Vintage Oak Farm, Ashford Manor, The Graduate (formerly Foundry Park Inn), and many more   We’ve added a large set of sign props that you’ll see in some of the pictures below. I thought I’d post some of my favorite wedding reception photo booth pictures from the last few months.

Sample Memory Book Pages

I just wanted to share a picture from last night’s memory book.  This is what the pages of our memory book look like when you flip through them.  There are usually 4 images per page, and each guests writes a little something with each photo strip.  Our attendant adheres the strips to the page and direct the guests where to write, ensuring a neat and orderly display.  The bride and groom get to leave their reception with this book in their hands!  A memory book can replace the guest sign-in book and is much more fun and personalized.

Lydia & Zach’s Wedding ~ February 2014

Zach and Lydia got married at the Antioch Christian Church in Watkinsville, Georgia. We provided both photo booth and video services so I got to see their whole wedding day. The reception took place at a new venue in Watkinsville called the Thomas Cotton Gin. The weather was beautiful for February and allowed for many of the receptions guests to mingle outside.  There was even a bonfire for guests to gather around.  The open air photo booth was set up on the porch.  The bride and groom provided their own props.  The open air set up was a perfect fit for the event.  Here is a picture of the setup on the porch along with some photo booth pics from the reception.

Athens Country Club Halloween Carnival 2013

Here are some of the awesome costumes I saw at the Athens Country Club Halloween Carnival.  One of the great features of the open air booth is that the attendant can move the camera between sessions to capture children and adults of all heights.

DIY backgrounds for the Open Air photo booth

Do you love creating spaces?  Are you a DIY/pintrest bride?  Does your wedding have a theme related to a book, movie, or time period?  Do you just want an awesomely unique photo booth background?  Then why not design your own background for the open air photo booth?

Very few brides take advantage of the fact that you can have almost ANY background with the open air photo booth.  We love to see our brides, grooms, and event designers get creative and build a personalized background for an event.  I know you’re thinking you don’t have the time to do something so involved for your wedding day, but you have artistic family and friends who can help (tell them its what you want for your wedding present).  An event designer, rental company, or a floral designer could help you bring your idea to life.  The “set” can be as involved or as simple as you want it to be.

Here are some examples of great backdrops for our open air photo booth.

Will you please sign my dance card?

We had another great event with the young adults at Perfectly Polished.  We set up the open air photo booth for their Valentine’s Day dance.  These ladies and gentlemen are always on their best behavior.  Can’t wait to work with this group again!  Check out some fun picture from the night.  And see how nice the new gold backdrop looks!
